Coventry University are implementing a new staff exchange platform called WARPit. This platform makes it incredibly easy for staff to giveaway or claim surplus items, e.g. office supplies, furniture, electrical equipment.
Through WARPit Coventry University can:
- Reduce unnecessary waste
- Reduce procurement costs and time
- Save money on waste disposal
- Reduce supply chain waste and carbon emissions
- Maximise collaboration between teams and departments
If you have an item that is taking up space that you do not need, put it on WARPit. Or if you are looking for an item check WARPit before you buy new!

Registering on WARPit
Visit www.warp-it.co.uk/CU (bookmark it)! Hit the big green ‘register now’ button and we’ll approve you as soon as we can. Don’t forget to recommend it your colleagues too!
Check your item isn’t on the Assets Register
Please speak to your Facilities and Operations team to ensure that any items you wish to place on WARPit are not on the Universities’ asset register and if so, gain permission before uploading it to WARPit.
